Violation Questions *

Q1 · Forced Products *

Did the dealer tell you that you had to buy a warranty, GAP, GPS, theft protection, paint protection, or another add-on in order to get approved for financing?

Federal and state law require these products to be optional. Telling you they are required is itself the violation.

Q2 · Payment Mismatch *

Was your monthly payment higher than what the dealer originally told you it would be?

If the contract payment is meaningfully higher than the promised payment, that gap is recoverable.

Q3 · Separate Down Payment Agreement *

Did the dealer ask you to make your down payment in parts after you took the car home?

Separate down-payment paper outside the RISC is a strong indicator of a TILA / state-finance violation.

Q4 · Bait and Switch Delivery *

After you took the car home, did the dealer call you back and tell you that you needed to sign new paperwork, put more money down, or return the car?

If you left with the car but had to return it or re-sign documents, that's a serious violation of consumer protection laws.

Q5 · Vehicle Condition Misrepresentation *

Did the dealer misrepresent the vehicle's condition, such as hiding crash damage, odometer tampering, salvage/flood history, or title issues?

Dealers must disclose known defects, accidents, and title history. Hiding these facts violates state and federal consumer protection laws.

Uploading your Retail Installment Sales Contract (RISC) is strongly recommended.

Including your RISC helps us identify finance-law violations more accurately. You can still submit without it, but your analysis will be more thorough with the contract. Additional documents help us verify violations and calculate damages.
