About Donald

Donald Scott brings more than two decades of experience in consumer protection litigation, handling disputes under the federal statutes that govern lending, debt collection, credit reporting, and related consumer rights. He has worked these matters at every stage, from pre-suit demands through trial and appeal, and understands how they are investigated, valued, and resolved. That depth allows him to assess a case quickly and to give clients a clear, honest read on where they stand.

Donald represents consumers in disputes under the federal statutes written to protect them, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the Truth in Lending Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act. His work also covers deceptive business practices, wrongful foreclosure, unlawful robocalls and text messages, credit reporting errors, and the misuse of personal and biometric data. He handles individual cases and class actions in state and federal court, and has argued and won appeals at the highest levels, with fourteen published appellate decisions and admission to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States.

Donald earned his law degree from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University and his degree in International Business from Auburn University. He is admitted to practice in Florida.
