Robert F. Gonzalez

For seventeen years, Robert F. Gonzalez has represented people against the companies that were supposed to protect them. His practice began in insurance litigation and personal injury — going to trial against insurers who denied valid claims and recovering millions of dollars for clients over the course of his career. Winning those cases taught him how corporate defendants build their defenses, and how to take them apart in deposition and at trial.

That experience pulled him toward consumer protection more broadly. Breach-of-contract cases against large companies became the center of his practice, and founding National Consumer Advocates allowed him to build something around a single idea: that an ordinary person, properly represented, can beat a far larger opponent.

Robert is licensed in Florida, Kentucky, Texas, and Colorado. Outside the courtroom, he is a husband and father who spends his free time fishing with his son and following University of Miami athletics.
